For those who do single tickets but don’t collect data – what happens if tickets are missed from the draw, how would you know who has won and what tickets go into the draw, how do you issue new tickets and communicate with the purchasers? This could be from human or system error.

My colleague has suggested this for T&Cs. “In adding bits into the Terms and Conditions, I’ve sort of made up a process. Initially thinking, we’d replace the tickets in the hospice shop as we usually do and them publish in the shop, did you purchase XXXXXX ticket on XX/XX/XXXX if so your replacement ticket number is XXXXXX for the draw of XX/XX/XXXX. Would we only advertise if a ticket had won, if so we could add ‘you’ve won £XX.XX’. But for transparency should we inform all those who purchased a ticket which wasn’t entered into the draw?”

    What are you doing?
    Many thanks
