FPS Launches on 6th July 2017
In preparation for the launch, the Regulator has implemented changes within the Code of Fundraising Practice to mirror the requirements of the Fundraising Preference Service. More information on these changes can be found here.
Charities spending the most on public fundraising will have been invited to enrol on the FPS system before launch on the 6th July. Smaller charities, those spending less than £100,000 per annum on fundraising, do not need to be set up on the system proactively.
If a request to stop communication is processed against a smaller organisation, the Fundraising Regulator will get in contact via the email address registered with the Charity Commission. They would therefore encourage all organisations to check that these details are correct and relevant.
